Ernest Lacy was born in Los Angeles in 1928. Lacy settled in Whittier, California in 1953. He studied at UCLA and Chouinard Institute of Art as well as in Mexico and Italy. During his long career he taught art at Whittier College, Cal State Los Angeles, and Cerritos College. He currently (2013) lives in Whittier. His paintings of nature are in the Cezanne tradition. Exhibited: California Watercolor Society, 1954-55.
