A wonderful piece with an edgy, somewhat grim, sense of fun. Dated July 1963, and dedicated to Rose Baird, is this quote: "Man is forever winking and smiling but it will not change what he knows Fate has in store for him." The signature is hard to decipher: last name Bromfield?
In its frame the painting measures 14 7/8" x 8 1/2".
