Audrey Mount Crawford Peterson (1911 - 1989)

Born in Salt Lake City, UT on May 11, 1911.  Audrey began her art training in 1928 with Cornelius Salisbury and continued at the AIC and the University of Chicago.  While in Chicago she wed James Peterson in 1936.  In 1938 she studied in Claremont, CA with Millard Sheets and in the 1950s with Eijnar Hansen, Richard Reubens, and Leonard Edmundson.  She died in Altadena, CA on March 29, 1989.  An Abstract Expressionist, her work includes landscapes and portraits.
