Or perhaps we should go all-out period and call it a bumbershoot. Oil on canvas, unsigned, 19th century work of great charm and high skill. We discovered it on our picking trip through Virginia. Sold as shown in the photos with some visible damage to canvas and frame. It's a terrific piece.
