Catalina Island Pottery Set, Scalloped Bowl and Pair of Candlesticks CA2643

A matched three-piece console set in Catalina's Seafoam glaze — a wide scalloped bowl flanked by a pair of low candlesticks, all three sharing the same fluted petal motif at the base. The glaze is rich and consistent across all three pieces, pooling slightly in the recesses of the ribbing and brightening at the raised edges in the way Catalina glazes characteristically do.

Designs from this period drew from Art Deco, Spanish Mission Revival, and Moorish traditions — visible here in the scalloped rim and the clean geometric fluting. Seafoam is among the harder-to-find Catalina glazes, and a matched set in this condition is genuinely uncommon. 

Red clay visible at the foot rings. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Glaze intact throughout.
