Nice group photo of the Oil Field, Gas Well and Refinery Workers of America, by M.F. Weaver. 1920s. Taken in downtown Los Angeles on Grand Avenue. In the rear left of the photo is the old Ponet Square Hotel, which was destroyed by a disastrous fire in 1970. The Spanish tiled roof building with the arched windows still sits on Grand Avenue. Framed photo measures 31.5″w x 8″d.
