Vintage painted copper on white metal figural mantle clock. Finish has faded

United Electric clock mechanism.

This piece depicts President Roosevelt (Franklin, not Theodore) at a ships' wheel being hailed as the man of the hour for signing an amendment to the Volstead Act, known as the Cullen-Harrison Act, allowing the manufacture and sale of 3.2% alcohol. Features embossed lettering and a detailed depiction of FDR. 

Exhibits minor signs of wear. Plug-in electric clock
