Kennedy was a figure of hope for Native Americans and, on balance, his legacy though mixed, is weighted on the positive side. So when the Kennedy half dollar coin was first minted in 1964 it immediately found its way into Native American silver jewelry. This piece is a beautiful example of the genre.
