Marie B. Kendall (1885–1953) was a California landscape painter known for her atmospheric views of the Southern California desert, Sierra Nevada, coast, and countryside. Born in New York, Kendall moved to California early in her career and studied with William Merritt Chase and Jean Mannheim. She exhibited widely throughout California and beyond, with her work appearing in exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Riverside.
