Antique Peruvian Hand Tooled Leather and Carved Wood Bench F2842

This long bench is topped with a panel of hand-tooled leather depicting a lively village scene. Figures, animals, and architecture worked into the hide with real narrative detail, bordered by a running floral motif. 

Brass nailhead trim runs along the leather's edge, a warm patina echoing the rich, aged tones of the leather. The base is carved wood with barley-twist legs, bun feet, and a carved stretcher connecting all four legs, lending the piece real substance and presence.

The leather shows honest wear and age-appropriate patina consistent with its history. A testament to genuine use over the decades.
