Portrait of S.S. Imperator, Travel Advertising, Tin Lithograph P3443
Regular price
$1,200.00
This impressive large-scale tin lithograph depicts the S.S. Imperator, one of the grand ocean liners of the early 20th century. Created as travel advertising for the Hamburg-American Line, the piece promoted luxurious transatlantic voyages between Hamburg and New York. The lithograph features a beautifully realistic rendering of the majestic vessel cutting through open waters, exemplifying the grandeur and optimism of the golden age of ocean travel.
While there are minor condition issues, including small specks of surface rust visible across the image (as shown in the photos), these do not detract from the vivid color, fine detail, and overall visual impact of this historic maritime artwork.
