Portrait of a Señorita by Marion C. Raulston, Oil on Canvas P3516

Regular price $3,500.00

She's got the pose of someone who knows exactly how good she looks, one hand on her hip, chin tilted, a knowing little half-smile playing at the corner of her mouth. Draped in a vivid, fringed shawl painted in confident strokes of red and orange.

This is classic early-20th-century Spanish-subject portraiture, the kind of romanticized "señorita" theme that was hugely popular with American and European painters of the era. Signed by the artist, Marion C. Raulston.

The canvas has been relined and professionally restored, with patching done to stabilize the original paint layer — so she's ready to hang and hold court for another hundred years. Presented in a warm, softly gilded wood frame with a linen liner that lets that red dress really sing.

Art measures 30" x 40", in frame 37" x 47"
