A handsome example of California Spanish Revival furniture, this Monterey drop-leaf table features distinctive bobbin-turned legs — a lathe-turned detail of stacked ring forms with strong Spanish Colonial character. The trestle base with scalloped stretcher provides sturdy support, while the hinged drop-leaf sides allow the table to expand or tuck away as needed. Original old-wood finish with beautiful patina throughout. A versatile and characterful piece in good condition consistent with age and use.
