North Coast Face Totem A3404

Regular price $900.00

This totem pole is traditional art of the Indigenous peoples from the Northwest Coast of North America, particularly those from British Columbia, Canada, and parts of southeast Alaska.

We are uncertain of the exact tribe it comes from, and out of respect, we do not wish to assume. The features of a humanoid face with a tall, cylindrical hat suggest Tlingit or Haida societies. The symmetrical form and deep carving style suggest a Kwakwaka’wakw or Haida influence.

Regardless of it's provenance, it's an excellent piece. It's in a weathered and worn condition, but still shows vibrant original red and black paint.

Measures: 8.5" x 4" x 39"
