North Coast Raven Totem A3405
Regular price
$900.00
This totem pole is traditional art of the Indigenous peoples from the Northwest Coast of North America, particularly those from British Columbia, Canada, and parts of southeast Alaska.
We are uncertain of the exact tribe it comes from, and out of respect, we do not wish to assume. Features a bird-like face, possibly a raven or eagle, with another smaller face above. Raven is a trickster and creator figure in many Northwest Coast mythologies. The heavy use of black and red is very typical of Haida and Tlingit design.
Regardless of it's provenance, it's an excellent piece. It's in a weathered and worn condition, but still shows vibrant original red and black paint.
Measures: 9.5" x 7.5" x 34.5"
