Towering clouds and layered purple mountains rise behind a cluster of adobe buildings, their rust and ochre lower slopes echoing the pueblo's earthen walls.
Signed lower left "S. Lehrer." We couldn't find biographical information on this artist in the major auction or artist-record databases, likely a regional or undocumented painter working in the Southwestern tradition popularized by the Taos and Santa Fe art colonies.
Presented in a rustic dark wood frame with a linen liner. A solid, atmospheric piece of mid-century Southwestern regional art.
