The Wild West was best remembered and romanticized during the 1940's and 50's. Americans Love affair with the Old West was apparent in everything from Fashios, Furniture, Car interiors and even the kitchen
Manufacturers of Diner ware such as Sycamore, Wallace, Tepco and others all created Western themed dish sets. Many such as Wallace Ware and Tepco offered complete sets to the public.
Wallace Ware offered more than 4-5 different sets and many ended up on dude ranches and Hunting cabins throughout the Western United States.
