Owner of the Flemish Artist Shop in Sherman Oaks, California and a renown art teacher of significant influence, Jean Keuterickx did a lot to maintain and improve the high standards of traditional painting in Southern California. Born in Brussels, Belgium, Mr. Keuterickx studied for many years at the Academy Mommarts and at the Royal Academy in Brussels. Mr. Keuterickx was a member of the California Art Club, American Institute of Fine Arts, Laguna Beach Art Institute, Valley Artists Guild, and the San Fernando Valley Art Club. A natural talent combined with his fine art training made Keuterickx a superb artist who, at all times, had complete control of his medium. Lyrical, colorful and beautifully executed, his paintings can make a dynamic addition to any art collection.
