A hand-decorated ceramic vase by Sacha Brastoff, featuring a stylized figural scene rendered in bold, graphic brushwork. The composition depicts an native Inuit woman, dressed in traditional attire and holding a long spear, set against a turquoise sky and snowy backdrop. Signed and dating to the mid-20th Century.

Sascha Brastoff (1918–1993) was a prominent American ceramic designer based in Los Angeles, known for his decorative wares produced from the late 1940s through the early 1960s. His work is associated with the Mid-Century Modern movement and often incorporates narrative imagery, expressive linework, and hand-painted detail.

In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks anywhere on the piece. A collectible example of California studio pottery, well-suited for display.
