A Union Pacific Railroad dining car mug, made for use aboard Union Pacific passenger trains. The white mug features a colorful duck design in red, blue, and yellow, showing a duck dressed in a hat and jacket walking with a cane.
Made by Syracuse China, they produced durable wares for hotels and major rail lines like Union Pacific. Cups like this were used in dining cars during the golden age of American rail travel.
