A superb woodland scene, a forest clearing, a vista of sky and mountain glimpsed, unsigned, very fine work. Restored, two repairs visible on the back of the canvas, some craquelure of the varnish and minor damage to the frame (see photos).
The canvas measures 22" x 36", and the frame is 27" x 41" x 2.5" deep.
