One of the more rare examples of Monterey chair designs to come out of Mason Manufacturing's original 1930s Spanish Revival line.
The wood frame and wrought iron arms have been painted, giving the piece a deep, near-black finish consistent with the "classic period" coloring Mason favored in the early '30s. The cushions have been newly reupholstered in a bold Native American–inspired geometric textile, giving the chair a fresh, wearable presence while keeping the original frame and ironwork intact.Â
