Now this is a cute one. Charming oil on canvas depicting two wire-haired terrier puppies in a colorful, loosely painted setting. Signed E. Jackson lower left, the portrait captures the playful personalities of the pups with expressive brushwork and a wonderfully soft, painterly palette. Circa 1940.
Presented in its original distressed ivory-painted wood frame, adding to its period character.Â
