Maria Josefa "Pepa" Lamarque 1896-198?? was a contemporary of Amelia Pelaez 1896-1968 and exhibited with her in Pelaez's first show in 1924. An important Cuban artist in her own right, Lamarque's paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the world.
