A very well known silk screen by famed WPA artist and silk-screen pioneer Millard Sheets. Time has discolored the paper (most visible along the extreme edges, but no damage. Measures 17" x 25 1/2". It's a spectacular print.
Millard Owen Sheets (June 24, 1907 – March 31, 1989) was an American artist, teacher, and architectural designer, who was one of the earliest of the California Scene Painting artists. Many of his large-scale building-mounted mosaics from the mid-20th century are still extant in Southern California.
