Mexican Tlaquepaque Plate, Man with Burro M1998

Regular price $150.00

Vintage 1940s Tlaquepaque pottery plate featuring a charming hand-painted scene of a man on his burro. Executed in vibrant yet earthy tones over a warm cream earthenware body, this piece captures the whimsical folk art aesthetic that made Tlaquepaque ceramics highly collectible during the mid-century period.

Handmade in Mexico with beautifully simple linework, rustic glaze variation, and classic folk art border decoration. A wonderful example of traditional Mexican pottery with strong Southwestern character and decorative appeal.

Overall very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear consistent with handmade earthenware pottery.
