A straight-up charmer. Painting measures 18" x 24" and the original frame is 23 1/2" x 32 1/2".
Grace Harvey taught painting in Southern California for many years, and received her formal training at the Cleveland (Ohio) Art Institute. She traveled the United States and Canada, painting and drawing as she went. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Miss Harvey contacted Leon Franks to improve her painting techniques. She then studied with Nicolai Fechin, a favorite painter of the Czar of Russia. For her knowledge of color she studied with colorist Ted Lukits.
