In its original 19th century frame. It measures 14" x 18" and the frame is 20 1/2" x 24 1/4".
Born in New Jersey in 1823. Coursen worked as a salesman while in Sacramento in 1859-60. He died in San Francisco on Aug. 13, 1908. Exh: Calif. State Fair, 1859. And that is all we can find on him. A lovely artist.
