Classic Monterey Wing Chair in Straw Ivory F2834

This is Monterey in its original condition and original finish, which is increasingly hard to find intact. A bold, architectural silhouette, hand-forged iron strapping at the joints, and hand-painted floral decoration climbing the wing in soft reds and greens against the straw ivory finish. The leather spring seat has aged into a wonderfully soft, worn patina, with the kind of creasing and tonal variation that only comes from decades of use.

Expect wear consistent with age throughout — some finish loss on the arms, softening in the leather, and the general character marks that come with a piece this old having actually been lived with.
