Catalina Island Pottery Set, Scalloped Bowl and Pair of Candlesticks CA2643

A matched three-piece set in Catalina's Seafoam glaze. A wide scalloped bowl flanked by a pair of low candlesticks, all three sharing the same fluted petal motif at the base. The glaze is rich and consistent on all three pieces. Seafoam is among the harder to find Catalina glazes. The red clay used for these pieces is visible on a few points. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs.

Catalina designs from this period drew from Art Deco, Spanish Mission Revival, and Moorish traditions, visible here in the scalloped rim and the clean geometric fluting.
