Sherry Schrut - Abstract, Grays, Purples, Orange - Oil on Board P2960

Regular price $1,200.00

A terrific example of mid-century modernism, all cool jazz. Measures 24" x 30". Frame not included.

Los Angeles artist Sherry Schrut was one of the prolific contributors to 20th century American Modernism. Being a painter, printmaker, enamel and ceramic artist - as well as a versatile designer - kept her work in demand by such notables as Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman - the power couple of mid-century design.

Schrut's art ranges from representational to non-objective, from identifiable objects and beach-scenes to imaginary fauna and flora.
