Wonderfully layered and dense with color, it first presents as an abstract until one discerns the three figures. The back of the board bears labels attesting to its authorship and provenance. Measures 24" x 36".

In 1952 Margaret Kellogg started making collages at Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles. The collage art department was referred to as the "School with a style" by art critic Jules Langsner. The style reflects religious art and all the classes had religious theme: oil painting, ceramics, life drawing, serigraphs, and collages. Margaret graduated from Immaculate Heart College in 1955. In 1970 she continued her art education at University of California Davis. In 2006 she began making her collages about the Book of Revelation. She makes her collages from National Geographic and Life Magazines.
