Silvertone was the Sears brand for electronics and exemplified the company's high quality control matched with great affordability. Sears sold the Silvertone brand but the radios themselves were manufactured by many different companies during their production. Stewart Warner, Detrola, Colonial, Noblitt-Sparks (Arvin), and Warwick are some of the companies that made them.
