Pair of Marshall Laird Spanish Colonial Armchairs circa 1927

Scotsman Marshall Laird arrived in LA in 1915 and set about defining the fashion for California interior decoration for the next two decades with his beautifully crafted furniture. His company's interpretations of the Spanish Revival and Spanish Colonial styles set the bar.

This magnificent pair of armchairs shows some of the wear of time, on the wood and the leather, but both are basically in very good condition.

Measures 26 1/2" wide, 42 1/2" high, 21" deep and the seat height is 18".
