Original Monterey Straw Ivory Desk (Early Brand) F2777

An original Monterey desk in its classic straw ivory finish, dating to very early production for the brand. This piece exemplifies the distinctive Monterey style—an early California design movement influenced by Spanish Colonial and rustic European aesthetics, popularized in the late 1920s and 1930s.

The desk features hand-painted floral decoration across the front, hammered wrought iron strap hardware, and beautifully turned legs connected by a stretcher base.

Exterior is in good antique condition with normal wear consistent with age and use. Interior has some heavier wear on the wood, which shows this piece got quite a bit of use! Please see all photos for close ups. Original Monterey horseshoe branding stamp on the side.
