Luis Manuel Morales (b. 1962, Tzintzuntzan, Michoacán, Mexico) is a fifth-generation ceramic artist celebrated for his high-fired glazed pottery that blends traditional Purhépecha techniques with contemporary design. Trained in painting and ceramics at the University of Michoacán, Morales works from his family atelier in Tzintzuntzan, where he creates distinctive forms inspired by pre-Hispanic motifs and the natural landscape around Lake Pátzcuaro. His award-winning work has been exhibited internationally and remains highly regarded for its craftsmanship, cultural depth, and refined artistry.
