Eight Ball was advertised as a carbonated drink or mixer. In the 40s and 50s Eight Ball soda was bottled in Altoona, Pa by Red Rock Beverages, one of the oldest manufacturers of carbonated beverages, founded in 1885. Red Rock Beverages were endorsed by baseball player Babe Ruth, one of his only few endorsements.
