A delightful portfolio of the work of the three titans of Mexican mural art issued by their Mexican publisher Eugenio Fischgrund. Some damage, visible in the photos. Each plate measures 12" x 16".
Eugenio Fischgrund was a publisher in Mexico City c 1930-1960 of books and postcards; both showcased Mexican art and folklore, especially regional costumes. Fischgrund was a member of the Acción Democrática Internacional (International Democratic Action) and owner of the publishing house Editorial de Arte, located at Isabel La Catolica, 30-205, Mexico City. His postcards often were made in collaboration with the photographer Luis Márquez (1899–1978), and he also published postcards employing watercolors by Charles X. Carlson (1902–1991), F. Lugo, and Rafael Martínez Padilla (1878–1958).
