A rare find in the Monterey world — this substantial club chair retains its original straw ivory finish, a color seldom seen surviving intact on this form. The frame features characteristic iron hardware at the joints and a woven rope seat, with the original hand-painted floral motif preserved on the chair back. Minor restoration to the arms. In great overall condition considering its age. Does not come with cushion. Circa 1930s.
