Edward Sotello 1973 Watercolor - Red Sensation Newport Beach P2738
A semi-abstract, you might say, a bit Dufy and a bit Paul Klee, utterly Modernist, this delightful watercolor is full of that blithe Southern California spirit. A very happy picture.
Measures 13 1/2" x 20 1/2" and its matte is 19" x 27". There is old masking tape to remove and the matte that has protected the piece so well until now may need replacing if it resists cleaning, for it has acquired some scuff marks over the years.
