Made in Hollywood California! Laidlaw was a prolific small part actor in westerns, usually as mustachioed minor henchmen or gang members.

When he registered for the World War I draft in 1918, he was working for the Burroughs Adding Machine Company in his home town of Butte, Montana.

Ethan Laidlaw was born on November 25, 1899 in Butte, Montana, USA as Ethan Allen Laidlaw. He was an actor, known for Is That Nice? (1926), Crack o' Dawn (1925) and Beyond the Law (1934). He was married to Mabelle Anne Ward and Mildred A. Carter. He died on May 25, 1963 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA.

And now we know how else he kept busy. It's beautiful work. It really doesn't get more cowboy than this.
