Mundus was an Austrian bentwood furniture company that, along with the famous Jacob & Josef Kohn, merged with Gebrüder Thonet in 1922. Mundus chairs are known for their elegant, curved designs and are often marked with the "Mundus" label or the "Kohn Mundus" label from the partnership. Modern interpretations of Mundus designs, such as the Post Mundus chair, are still produced by brands like GTV today.
