Really rather elegant, so no matter how scratched and used, impossible to throw away. The Crawfords' tins are avidly collected, indeed many are in the Victoria & Albert! And useful? My dear! This one is modeled in the form of a stationary casket, in imitation tortoiseshell, with gilded details. The lid is hinged, with a further cantilever lid, revealing a compartment for pens and letter sealing wax.
