Lamartine Le Goullon (1917-1998) was a painter, illustrator, and designer. He was born in Santa Clara County and lived in California and New York. After his WW2 army discharge he studied at the San Francisco Academy of Art. He painted scenes of San Francisco but in order to make a living focused on illustration and design. He spent several years in New York as a designer of fabrics and wallpaper. He died in Los Angeles, California.
