Frederico Giorgi: Born in Rome, Italy on April 1, 1878. After graduating from the National Academy in Rome, Giorgi moved to the U.S. about 1902. He painted frescoes and portraits in New Orleans until 1915. At that time he was called to Hollywood by D. W. Griffith to work on the film “Intolerance.” He remained in Los Angeles until his demise on Nov. 6, 1963.
This archive of his personal Photos, Awards,Drawings and Autographed letters were bought from an Estate in the Sacremento area years ago and are just now being shown and offered to the public. His Gold Medal from the San Fran Expo of 1915 and Helen Keller letters are amongst the stand outs of this Talented artist achive
