A magnificent object in itself and fabulous article of late Victorian tech. The case is rosewood, the craftsmanship in manufacture superlative, its condition excellent. No less entrancing than it was when first made. The effect is truly magical.

You also get a starter kit of 19 black & white stereoscopic views (plus 3 in color) of  such scenes as Paris, Copenhagen, mountains, woods and people etc.

A fine rosewood table-top model with single panel magnifying lens and stereo lenses, ornate ormolu scrollwork support, scroll cut easel on brass rods with bone finials, a plaque on the base reads, 'Graphoscope, patented July 6th, 1875.' folds into a finely detailed burl walnut box with ebonised trim.
