Time was when a sideboard was de rigueur in any well-ordered home. Then, somehow, the dining room entered that state of suspended animation once suffered by the front parlor. It became a room no one used, except to pass through quickly. You might occasionally want to occupy the table for rainy day board games and jigsaw puzzles or as a landing pad for a couple of large delivery pizzas. But lately people have started putting some love back into the room, and even sitting down to meals that aren't Thanksgiving.
But something's missing. You guessed it. The sideboard. You need one. It's a good servant. It works hard. My, is it ever handy. And, if you scroll down, you will agree that a sideboard can also be GORGEOUS. Definite Star Quality.
